AKA 'Bird's Nest Fern', Asplenium antiquum ‘Hurricane’ features narrow, spiraling fronds for a unique look among the other varieties of Asplenium. This genus is epiphytic, so Asplenium can also be mounted. They are one of the easier "ferns" to care for.
Asplenium antiquum ‘Hurricane’ CARE:
Place in pot with drainage. Use potting mix with peat moss. Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Water soil, not center of rosette to prevent rot.
Bright to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sun.
As with most ferns, a humid environment is best. Avoid placing near heat/AC vents and add extra humidity if needed.
