One of the faster growing Hoyas we've encountered, Hoya australis has deep green leaves and is an easy climber- often climbing anything within reach. Like other Hoyas, Hoya australis produces blooms that appear as though they are made of porcelain- off-white in color with fuchsia centers in the case of Hoya australis.

Hoya australis CARE:
Place in pot with drainage. Allow soil to dry 3/4 to all the way down between waterings. If leaves begin to pucker, it’s time to water.
Bright indirect light. Can adapt to medium light, though blooms will not develop in medium light.
This less widely available species will climb if given something to grab onto. To encourage blooms, allow to become slightly root bound.
Once blooms are spent, DO NOT cut off the point they emerge from (called a 'peduncle'), as Hoyas re-bloom from the same peduncle year after year.
