Also known as Hoya "Hindu Rope", Hoya carnosa 'Compacta Variegata' is a sought-after Hoya, with interesting leaves in shades of green, white, and pink; that twist and turn along the rope-like vines that form as the plant develops. Once more mature, pale pink star-shaped flowers, with a scent reminiscent of chocolate, form in an almost spherical cluster.

Hoya carnosa 'Compacta Variegata' CARE:

Place in pot with drainage. Allow soil to dry out all the way to the bottom between waterings. If leaves begin to look puckered, it’s time to water.

Very bright indirect light is best. Can adapt to medium light, though blooms will not develop.

This species will climb if given something to grab onto. To encourage blooms, allow to become slightly root bound.

Once blooms are spent, DO NOT cut off the point they emerge from (called a 'peduncle'), as Hoyas re-bloom from the same peduncle year after year.
